Step by Step of How Best to Apply! We recommend trying our carpet tape on a small, inconspicuous area of carpet first, as it is very sticky and difficult to rearrange once applied.

Tear the carpet tape to the desired length and apply it to the area of carpet. When installing a carpet in a room, ensure to cover the perimeter in tape. Likewise, when installing on stairs, make sure the entire surface is covered in tape to ensure it is completely adhered.

To stop your rug from moving around, apply the tape to all four sides around the perimeter. Smooth down the tape and peel away the backing. We suggest removing the backing and sticking the carpet down a strip at a time, rather than removing the backing from all the tape at once. This makes it easier to manoeuvre while adhering your carpet or rug.

Our tape is extremely sticky and can leave residue on scissors, so we recommend using a carpet knife, another sharp cutting tool, or simply tearing the tape. Press down firmly once you're satisfied with the placement of your carpet or rug.

If you wish to remove the carpet tape, we recommend using a solvent-based adhesive spray.
