To ensure a successful installation, please follow the instructions below:

Cutting the Tape: We recommend using a knife and cutting through the tape from the paper side of the roll, which will be facing up. For carpets, rugs, and runners, we suggest cutting numerous smaller pieces rather than longer continuous pieces to avoid bunching and wrinkling, and to facilitate easier application.

Applying the Tape: Unroll the tape and apply the adhesive side to the underside of the rug, pad, or tile you are planning to secure, leaving the paper backing on. Alternatively, you can stick the adhesive side of the tape directly to the floor where the carpet or tile will be laid. Be sure to use an adequate amount of tape for the job at hand.

Peeling and Securing: When you have finished applying all the pieces, we recommend removing the paper backing from the pieces one at a time, rather than removing the backing from all the tape at once. This will allow you to maneuver your carpet, rug, or runner with ease as you secure it and position it in place. Once you're satisfied with the final position, press firmly along the edges and the middle.

Removal: Removing the tape should be easy and clean, and can be done by hand. Start by picking at one of the corners until you achieve a tiny piece that has lifted up, then firmly pull that piece using your hands until the full strip is removed. If you have difficulty getting the tape up, we recommend using a bit of dish soap and warm water, or a carpet-friendly adhesive remover like Goo Gone.
